Bio
My parents immigrated to the United States from Chile in 1973. I was born in New York City in 1978 and grew up in Boston, Berkeley, and Seattle. I received a BS in psychology from the University of Washington and a PhD in social psychology from Yale University. In 2009 I married my wife Li and our son Thomas was born later that year. I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Kellogg School of Management, and will be joining the management faculty at HEC Paris in September 2010. Outside of academic pursuits I enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and spending lots of time with my wife and son.
